beach bound...

Last weekend we traveled down to Charleston, South Carolina (the italics reflect a sophisticated Southern accent) and enjoyed a perfectly relaxing yet invogorating weekend camping at St. James island. A few short minutes from Wal-Mart, and even better than that, a couple more few short minutes from...

the beach!

The lovely, beautiful, sandy, warm-watered, vast, soaking wet beach. Folly beach to be exact. Life just makes sense when you're on the beach. All our worries stayed behind and our biggest concern was how long to let the dutch oven cobbler cook or what kind of most natural bug spray we can find for our precious little. We enjoyed the most breathtaking sunset as we stalled Jude's bedtime as long as possible.

We made it...
Life is good.

  3. Glorious!!! What wonderful memories you are making and how grateful we are that you share them with us through your precious blog. I almost felt like I could feel the sand on my feet and hear the beautiful sound of the waves rolling in. I long to squeeze our Precious little Jude in my arms and play with him in the sand, looking for seashells and building sand castles!
